I’m going to go ahead and admit my privilege.

I’ve have a lot of stuff I don’t deserve.

It all comes from my faith.

Privilege is one of the unique things about Christianity.

I get to take credit for the stuff that Jesus did.

No other religion offers this sweet deal.

It works like this:

  1. I admit that I’m selfish.
  2. I admit that I’ve done bad things.
  3. Jesus takes the blame for it.
  4. I’m absolved of everything.

Come on! What’s not to like about that?!!

In this “Age of Information”, it’s not hard to find people talking bad about Jesus.

(Just like in the First Century.  Mark 3:20)

The way I figure it, the people talking smack about Christ…

…are the ones denying their privilege.

Because it is outrageously arrogant to think you don’t need grace.

To mistakenly believe you’re a good person…

To be blind to your selfishness…

To not smell your own stench…

…is to live in the privileged tower of conceit.

Which is bad enough by itself…

…but made much worse when you refuse to admit it.

I’m no different from you.

I’m a conceited prig myself!

Which is why I’m so happy there’s Jesus.

Because I don’t deserve to get away with my sin…

…but I’m going to.

Privilege rocks!

  1. Why do you believe you are a bad man and need forgiveness for being a human and using your free will that was supposedly a God given attribute?
Is it because the Bible says this is so and your faith tells you this is true and you really do want to go to heaven?
If so, this appears as extremely weak evidence to base your entire life on. The Bible has debateable origins and many translations within Christianity with dozens of different meanings for thousands of different denominations, cults and individuals. Heaven is held in faith, spiritual convictions are trusted to be real because worshipers are fearful of ending up in hell.
If heaven and specifically hell were not the grand features of your religion people would simply not have any incentive to worship the Christian God.

    1. Anyone who had ever experienced regret or remorse understands the appeal of Christianity. You are asking these questions because you are apparently perfect. Congratulations!
