Three cheers for indoctrination!
I’m so grateful for my own indoctrination. It has saved me the time of having to learn everything first hand. Thanks to indoctrinations, almost everything I know came from somebody else.
I’ve heard some criticism from people who think indoctrination is a bad thing. I’m certain that somebody indoctrinated them with that idea but they aren’t open to hearing that from me.
If you oppose indoctrination, then you oppose communication. Whenever people talk to each other, information is exchanged. When a brain acquires information, it has been indoctrinated. The only way to avoid it is to stop learning stuff.
So if you’re currently crusading to protect children from being indoctrinated, you’re fighting a battle you cannot possibly win. There is no way to prevent human beings from learning things. Spend your energy making sure that you’re indoctrinating people with the truth.
(Ephesians 4:25) “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”

I don’t know if I would call it indoctrination. Maybe Truth. Reminders of the greatest truths should begin on the day of our birth, such as ‘Jesus loves you and so do I’. And continue daily. I like that of the first words spoken, Jesus would be the first a newborn hears. Maybe it’s indoctrination when it’s facts not truths. It’s love and discipleship when it is God’s Truth.
