This is the 2nd part of my fantastic new series where I present evidence for the existence of God.
In part one, I explained what I mean when I say “God”.
In order to understand the first evidence, you need to understand Jello.
Specifically, you must understand that Jello is not alive.
Though it comes in many shapes and flavors…
…none of them are living.
Suppose a spoonful of Jello that you scooped onto a plate suddenly came to life.
It slithered across the table onto the floor and headed out the front door.
Be honest…that would surprise you, wouldn’t it?
Suppose a microscopic piece of Jello suddenly came to life and slithered around.
Is that less surprising?
What if a microscopic piece of Jello came alive a million years ago?
It’s pretty miraculous no matter when it happened.
That’s essentially what happened on Earth at some point in the unrecorded past.
It wasn’t exactly Jello that came to life but it was something just as dead.
And that’s not something that ever happens.
Non-living stuff doesn’t come to life.
Living things only come from other living things.
Always.
Earth started out as dead as a teaspoon of Jello.
And then there were living cells.
Poof!
That’s evidence

John, this is not evidence.
1) You started with a straw man. NOBODY believes the early earth was like Jello.
2) Nobody expects Jello to come to life, and nobody expects jello to clean bathrooms. By your “logic”, the existence of bathroom cleaning products is evidence (for what, you didn’t say)
3) You didn’t say what it is evidence for. If Jello did suddenly come alive, it could be evidence for something. But you didn’t say what for? Evidence that magic is real? Evidence that scientists had figured out early life and were now able to make common items come alive? Evidence for god? And of course, since all three of those are equal conclusions from your ridiculous example, it isn’t evidence for any of them.
4) Making up a story, failing to logically follow premises through, and making unsubstantiated assertions never constitutes as evidence.
You’re not good at following analogy.
There is no scientific evidence that life comes from non-life. Life only comes from other life. That life existed before the universe began. Call it whatever you want.
Wrong again. There is evidence that life can come from non-life. It isn’t yet conclusive, but there is evidence. Once again, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis
Your faith is astounding.
You should make this into a children’s book!!
That’s not a bad idea…
