I read certain blogs to keep abreast of what the dummies are talking about. When I read only from thoughtful, intelligent sources, I become narrow minded. I start believing that reason and wisdom are all that exists and that’s a dangerous thing to believe. It leaves me unprepared for when I encounter idiocy. Idiocy can appear out of nowhere. For example:

“As school children, we were taught that the Pilgrims came to these shores at Plymouth Rock, seeking religious freedom. Is this true? Actually, it is not true…this is a form of soft propaganda.”

Go Here If You Think I’m Making This Up

The article is a screed against the evil Pilgrims who slaughtered the peaceful inhabitants of the New World because that’s what Christians always do blah…blah..you can read it for yourself. Again, the benefit to reading stuff like this is the opportunity to ask some questions. Questions are a great way to think about stuff. The first question that popped into my head was:

Why is anybody mad about Pilgrim culture in 2019? It’s been over 400 years since anyone imposed the death penalty for worshipping other gods, blasphemy, homosexuality, and adultery. The blog author acts like these laws are still on the books. He is exposing the injustice of Puritanical legislation as if it matters today…And that’s when it hit me. It matters to idiots!

In the comment section, I suggested that Puritan oppression gave way to liberty by the time the Declaration of Independence was written. The new country was founded on the notion that “all men are created equal”. None of the idiots responded to that observation. Instead, there was this:

“Not being fully up to speed with US History, was this before or after the genocide of the Native Americans? “

And all the idiocy became clear to me. America is stolen from the Native Americans. We are the descendants of savage colonialists. America was founded on a great evil. This evil must be undone. That’s when I had my brilliant idea!

Reparations! The idiots are correct. We need to give back what we’ve stolen. Everything we have must be returned to the Native Americans…

…except…the Native Americans were not a unified nation. So we’ll need to figure out which tribe owned what and then…

…wait a second…the Spanish owned a big chunk of North America for awhile…they need to give back what they stole first before we divvy up the rest and…

…hold on…who were the first people to occupy Spain? For that matter…who occupied Europe first? Everything in Europe must be returned to the original owners starting…

…when? When is the historical starting point? To be fair, we must return the world to exactly the condition it was in before civilizations started stealing from each other. To atone for our great evil, we must undo everything that has happened since the beginning of human history.

That’s my brilliant idea. We reset planet Earth to its prehistorical condition. Then, we give everyone what rightly belongs to them.

This is why it’s important to listen to dummies once in awhile. If it weren’t for idiocy, I’d never have come up with that solution.

  1. If we give the land back then must also be given in the same form it was taken removing all progress, technological advance, structures ..,etc. Right?

    1. Yes. Everything must be returned to the condition it was in when the first human abuse took place. It’s the least we can do to atone for the sins of our ancestors.

  2. If we’re going to rewind all of human history, can we get Eve to ignore the serpent?

    1. If you rewind aaaaaall the way back to Garden and start making rules based on THAT part of history, the Feminists are not going to be happy. 🙂

    2. I read certain blogs like this one to keep abreast of what the dummies are talking about.

Why is anyone still talking about Jesus in 2019? It’s been 2000 years since a no-account Jewish rabbi was nailed to the cross for insurrection, or died for our sins, or something…Christians still rabbit on about it, as if it still matters.

And that’s when it hit me. It matters to idiots!

  3. So if we go all the way back to the beginning, we realize that God is the One Who is most owed reparations.

And yet He says He doesn’t want them, and that they will get us nowhere with Him.

Instead, Christ died as payment for the penalty of our cosmic treason.

So ultimately, faith in Christ will make everything right.

    🙂

  4. Having grown up homeschooled, I immensely relate to being shocked by lack of common sense. XD

This seriously is a great idea, because isn’t God the original owner of everything?

    1. Yes. God is the original owner and as far as I know, STILL firmly in possession of all things.
