The first dozen times I saw it, I ignored the meme that says, “Just thinking about that show ‘To Catch A Predator” and how they exposed husbands, fathers, faith leaders, & community leaders. But NEVER a Drag Queen…” I thought, “That’s so dumb, it will never get shared.” I keep forgetting that the people who reject God have the reasoning skills of carrots. It’s possible that a carrot may stumble upon my humble writing so I’ll quickly explain why this meme is stupid and that will make the carrot laugh.

First, it’s important to understand that nobody on that television show was arrested because they were a husband, father, or faith leader. They were arrested for attempting to sexually abuse children. A predator’s marital status, occupation, church attendance, tax records, special interests, hobbies, and High School GPA are irrelevant.

Second, it’s important to understand that predators rely on stealth and secrecy. Watch a cat stalking a mouse. Notice the cat doesn’t run into the room wearing lingerie and a feather boa. That would spook the mouse. So, it’s not surprising that we didn’t see any sexual predators showing up at their victim’s house in drag.

And finally, it’s important to understand that there were LOTS AND LOTS of predators who aren’t on television. Just because you didn’t see a rodeo clown get arrested on, “Cops,” doesn’t mean there are ZERO rodeo participants breaking the law. Bad guys come in many shapes, sizes, and uniforms. It’s pretty stupid to believe drag queens are the ONLY group without representation among tens of thousands of sexual criminals; especially since they actively seek to engage with children.

All you carrots go right ahead and tell me that the absence of Drag Queens on ‘To Catch A Predator,” is proof that drag queens are ‘safe people.’ I expect nothing more from a vegetable.
