I know you’re not asking the question because you want answers. But since I’m required by God to give a reason for my faith, here you go: God sustains your life every second of every day. While you sleep, God keeps your heart beating and your lungs breathing. God supplies you with the strength to raise your arm and shake your fist at Him. God gave you the mind which you use to deny His goodness.

It is only because of God that you recognize evil. You know starvation, rape, and war should be stopped. The knowledge of right and wrong is in you because God made you different from animals.

The ‘atrocities’ you’re asking about are committed by people who have no regard for God. People like you, in other words. The fool commits acts of evil and blames God for not intervening. God could easily prevent evil by destroying you. Your continued existence is testimony to God’s unfathomable mercy.

If your atheism can’t prevent atrocities…what good is it really?

Your godless cynicism hasn’t ended any wars, fed any children or stopped a single rape. Your rebellious hatred has accomplished no good thing. Godlessness is cancer. Your religion preaches that existence is absurd. Atheism spreads hopelessness, despair, and death. The most consistent practitioners of your unholy philosophy, commit suicide.

God is life. God is love. Is that good enough for you?
