It’s been said that money can’t buy love.

I say, who needs love when you have a trillion dollars?

A trillion bucks!

That’s what our government is going to spend in an “omnibus” bill.

Omnibus is like “mad money” or “slush fund” to you and me.

Our government doesn’t like budgeting and fiscal planning.

It’s easier to set aside a pile of money…

…the size of Utah…

…and label it “Miscellaneous”.

I understand.

It isn’t their money.

Heck, it isn’t anybody’s money.

It’s magical money that doesn’t actually exist anywhere.

The government hasn’t spent real money for a long time.

They just increase the debt.

Debt doesn’t inflict pain.

And debt is only a problem if you intend to pay it back.

The secret to unlimited wealth is a seared conscience about the immorality of debt.

Do you know what’s more astounding than this Trillion dollar spending orgy?

Some people still trust the government to solve problems!

I’m not kidding.

They look to government to solve gun violence.

They think the government will fix immigration.

They think the government can guarantee fairness and equality.

You don’t have to take my word for it.

Point your browser at your favorite “news” website.

See the people marching on Washington?

That’s them!

Carrying signs demanding our immoral, selfish, elected elite “do something”.

Do something.

Hold those signs a little higher.

Shout a little louder.

Wear a pink hat.

Poor saps.

Politicians can’t even help you balance your checkbook.

You really think they’re going to end racism and hate?

Money can’t buy love.

But let’s spend a Trillion bucks anyway.

You gonna keep lurking forever or are you gonna join this exclusive clique?

  1. “Debt doesn’t inflict pain.”

    Debt doesn’t vote either.

It’s interesting to me, in an ironic way, is that before our obsession with gun laws we didn’t have kids shooting each other in schools.
