Pay attention next time you encounter this statement:

“I don’t need God to be good.”

Notice WHO said it.

It is ALWAYS uttered by a privileged member of a modern Western culture.

It is the religious dogma of the non-religious.

“Non-Religion” is the almighty god of the godless.

The Church of Non-Religion is exploding in every place populated by rich folks.

Only rich people worship Almighty Non-Religion.

Rich people can afford ignorance.

Destitute people must face reality.

It is ALWAYS a rich person who says, “Culture creates morality.”

Because…rich people don’t live in cultures dominated by tyrannical psychopaths.

Non-Religionists ALWAYS live in cultures built on Christian principles.

Non-Religionists ALWAYS ignore the influences of the Christian religion.

The Non-Religious say:

“A person doesn’t need God to love, be selfless, or considerate of others”

This noble declaration relies on deeply held religious belief that to be loving, selfless, and considerate is “good”.

Charles Darwin doesn’t tell us how “love” evolved.

For the Non-Religious, “good” is a matter of opinion.

Only wealthy, westerners have the luxury of opinions.

The occupants of North Korean prison camps do not speak favorably about the “goodness” of their cultural morality.

Non-Religionists are offended by the 10 Commandments and indifferent to the plight of Zimbabwe.

Non-Religionists are like Bigfoot…

…they’re imaginary.

Bigfoot stories never survive scrutiny.

Likewise, as soon as you investigate the claim, “I am good without God”…

…you discover it’s a hoax.

A loveless, selfish, inconsiderate, rich-person hoax.

“Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good.”

Mark 10:18

  1. I am still puzzled at why it’s even important to make a claim that one is good without God, unless you’re really playing around with the word “good.” I mean, why not write off the religious need for goodness as a primitive evolutionary illusion that promotes the survival of a colony? If you really wanted to hang on to goodness, shouldn’t it be based solely on the amount of progeny you produce?

      1. Holding my breath wouldn’t be good by any reasonable definition. Not the least of which – breathing is integral for my species to increase the likelihood of replicating DNA ^_^.
