Christians: Below is a helpful test you can run on memes like this one to figure out if you should throw it away. Secularists, just go ahead and click the laughing emoji right now.
Whenever a godless suppressor of truth suggests that acceptance, compassion, and respect should be extended to a specific group of people, you should apply that suggestion to some other group and watch how the pagan reacts. When a pagan says LGBTQ identities deserve acceptance and then throws an absolute hissy-fit when you ask if they feel the same way about homophobes, you can (respectfully) ignore them (although I recommend eye-rolling followed by laughter).
Call me closed-minded, but I don’t take parenting advice from people who have no children. I also don’t take glass blowing tips from grizzly bears. As of this writing, I’ve not had a single grizzly bear scold me for being mean or disrespectful. Bears know that it is not hateful to be discriminating. Some people aren’t as wise as bears.
We’ll tolerate bullying from anyone who claims to be acting with compassion. The most oppressive tyrants in the world are right under our noses insisting that we submit to their perfect sense of justice. They tell you not to trust your conscience but to trust their self-righteousness instead…or they’ll call YOU a fascist.
You wanna protect your children? How about keeping them away from those who use acceptance, compassion, and respect as buzzwords to dominate them.
(Matthew 23:5) “Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels. And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’”
