I assume God exists. Self labeled atheists and agnostics laugh at such religious presuppositions. The god-haters chortle, “Hahaha! Your religious bias disqualifies you from serious conversations. Keep your superstitious assumptions to yourself! The public conversation must be separate from religion.” In other words, they assume God doesn’t exist.
I know! I know! I can hear you heathen screeching, “I do not assume God doesn’t exist! I’m agnostic! I don’t KNOW if God exists! And neither do you! Nobody can KNOW for sure if God exists!!”
That’s not true. People who assume God exists can know. The Bible confirms our assumptions.
Now I can hear you shrieking, “Using the Bible to support your religion is circular reasoning! You can’t use religious text to confirm religious beliefs!!!”
Why not? You use non-biblical texts to confirm your non-biblical bias. You assume it’s impossible to know God exists and confirm your assumptions with all manner of anti-God literature. Your reasoning is perfectly circular, just like mine.
Okay, now I’m going to talk to Christians. You agnostics and atheists are dismissed.
Christians: There is no such thing as an atheist or agnostic.
The scripture says that God has revealed Himself to everybody. There are no people who don’t know He exists. Claiming to be agnostic (or atheist) is calling God a liar.
(Romans 1:18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Anyone demanding you show them evidence for God, is calling God a liar. He has surrounded them with evidence. They are SUPPRESSING the truth. They are not ‘seeking knowledge,’ they are actively denying that God has already given them the truth.
It is time you start using the term that the Bible uses for those who claim to be free of religious bias…”Fools.”
