Here’s a great video from James Tour.
This is a guy who knows more about chemistry than you ever will.
He’ll explain why evolution can’t possibly be a “mindless, unguided natural process”.
I’ll sum it up in a single statement:
“Anyone who tells you ‘science has explained the origins of life’ – is wrong.”
Or…as I have said many times before…
“Atheism is the dumbest worldview on the planet.”

No wonder you posted this video, the guy is a Christian, so he is going to work his ideology into his work in one way or another.
Just like you work your ideology into every comment you make. I only see one major difference between the two of you.
Tour is a Jew for Jesus. In other words: he doesn’t even understand Judaism, let alone evolution. Which makes him doubly incompetent.
I’m not bothered by resorting to ad hom. Neither is JB when it suits him. He just doesn’t admit it, because hypocrisy is a Christian “virtue.”

I listened to an excited astronomer discuss the moons of Saturn, this past weekend. I haven’t yet located the broadcast I happened to catch, and enjoy, but the above article touches into some of the findings he described.
I’m a scientist, and am surprised that atheists believe that science and faith cannot coexist, nor support each other.
Evolution. Abiogenesis. Atheism.
JB doesn’t even where the target is. Makes no difference, anyway. He’d still be shootin’ blanks.
It doesn’t matter if JB has a clue, he isn’t a doctor in Chemistry. James Tour however has a major clue about all of it and he puts forward to some major questions that there is no scientific answer for. There is speculation and hope but no proof. What are your answers to the questions he put forward in the lecture? He gave the answers, but I am wonder how you would answer them since apparently you think you have a clue.
Atheists don’t answer questions, Mike.
I’ll send you twenty bucks if you get a reply that is anything other than conjecture or ad hominem.
Send the twenty bucks to me, John. Like you, I love ad hominem!
From his Wikipedia page: “Tour is a Jew who is Messianic.”
Nice to see the man is not at all compromised by his partisan beliefs. In light of the fact that the scientific consensus confirms an evolutionary paradigm, it might be best to simply concede that Tour is incompetent when it comes to understanding the basics of evolution. As are evangelical stand-up comedians who double as preachers. As are his few followers.
Tada!
Just saved twenty bucks!
I really appreciate that James Tour used science to discuss the problems with the current narrative on OoL. So often we as Christians don’t use science to ask questions of the atheist. We simply try to defend God, as if He needs it, instead of asking really difficult questions and let them try to answer. Thank you for posting the video.
