This solution is discriminatory.
It isn’t inclusive.
It’s not for everybody.
Here is how you end sexual violence:
Christianity.
I told you it was extreme.
And offensive.
Sure.
But I’ve heard the other ideas.
Ideas proposed by Christians.
Seriously?
In order to end sexual violence…
…we fill out a form?
My name on a mailing list will stop the atrocity?
“We need to raise awareness!”
Did you know that sexual violence is illegal?
We’re aware of it already.
We wrote laws prohibiting it.
Laws rooted in Judeo Christianity.
Not Islam.
That’s an important point.
We’re going to have to acknowledge…
…that Christianity is morally superior…
…to other religious worldviews.
Multiculturalism won’t solve this problem.
Social justice programs won’t solve the problem.
And obviously…
…writing laws won’t solve the problem.
I’m puzzled when Christians post links like these.
You must be oblivious to the power of the Gospel.
I’ll explain why Christianity will solve sexual violence.
Christianity isn’t another law.
It’s not a rules of conduct list.
Conversion to Christianity transforms a person’s soul.
It makes people brand new.
The rapist, pedophile, violent offender…
…dies.
And a child of God is born.
Extreme.
But it’s the only thing that will work.

John Branyan has some of the best blog posts (and, of course, the best jokes, too. 😉 ). He is spot-on with this.
ONLY if the church decides to hold its people accountable. I was in an abusive marriage for years. There was sexual violence. I was told to submit more. I thank the Lord for His grace because I used the common sense He gave me to get out.
I am sincerely sorry you had to experience that. Your church leadership wasn’t functioning as it should if they did that and God will hold them accountable for their wrong. There’s a difference between a church (which is a group of sinners, not all of whom are truly repentant, justified, and growing in sanctification) and a relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ. ONLY Jesus is without sin, holy, perfect. People will always fail you, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. A church is a religious organization and unless the leaders are seeking/obeying/following God’s will/way, they will not accurately represent “His” church but will misuse it for their own glorification. I say this as I hope your bad experience has gotten you out of that “so called church” but not caused you to leave the Savior who loves you so much that He hung on a cross to pay the penalty for all of our sins. He never calls anyone to stay in a violent situation and grieves when his children suffer at the hands of rebellious/selfish people who won’t submit their hearts to Him. His submission is about love not fear.
Mcq, I absolutely 100 percent have a relationship with my Savior. By His grace, I am able to forgive and pray blessings for my abuser. It’s that the church at large likes to throw the submission verse at women, forgetting the second part of that passage where husbands have to love like Jesus. Btw I went to a Bible teaching church fill of people I consider to be real Christians.
Those were wolves in sheeps clothing, and I am glad you got away.
Shocking (I say sarcastically in a sarcastic manner)
Amen!
Spot on!
