After much heartfelt deliberation and tearful soul-searching, I’m ready to live my truth. I am Dwyane Wade’s 12-year old son.
Most of my life I’ve had a sense that my biological father wasn’t really my dad. Now that it’s been confirmed that Dwyane Wade’s son is actually a daughter, there is no doubt in my mind that I am the son he thought he had but didn’t know he had until the son he had turned out to be the daughter he didn’t know he had.
It couldn’t be more clear!
I’m excited to take my rightful place in the Wade family. It’s going to be difficult to adjust but my parents are eager to help me. As my dad said on national television, “That was our job, to go out and get information, to reach out to every relationship that we have.”
Truly it is a privilege to live in America where a 54 year-old father of 4 can grow up to become the 12-year old son of an NBA superstar. I’m so grateful! This dream couldn’t come true in a country oppressed by the realities of science. Thank God we’ve abandoned our ancient obsession with reason.
With my 7 grandchildren, the Wade family is growing fast! Daddy Dwyane became a great-grandpa overnight but it’s not a problem. He and Mom, “take our roles and our responsibility as parents very seriously.” Our family is strong. We will thrive.
After I’m settled into my new home, I’ve got more of my truth to reveal. I have discovered that I am also a milk cow. I want to add my truth to Joaquin Phoenix’s truth and I’m looking forward to doing it on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
