Once upon a time, sporting a Nazi tattoo was a liability for elected officials in the United States. Previous generations of Americans were closed minded bigots who thought support of The Third Reich was incompatible with American ideals. They also believed slavery was incompatible with freedom. Thanks to the Democratic party and decades of public school indoctrination, our culture has evolved.

Democrat Graham Platner had an authentic Nazi tattoo on his skin but said he planned on having it removed, which I would argue is totally unnecessary. Authenticity is the most important attribute of Democrats. It’s way more important than character, integrity, honesty, or intelligence.

There is nothing more admired by progressive leftists than being your authentic self. If you’re authentically a cannibal, or kidnapper, or Trump supporter…no…hang on…you can’t support Trump because he’s a Nazi and not the good kind.

Anything else is fine as long as you’re authentic. Unless…you’re white.

Any authenticity is good except for supporting Trump or being white. Or being Christian.

So be your authentic self, whatever that is, so long as you’re not supporting Trump, or white, or Christian. Or wealthy. Rich people are despicable.

And to be a good person, you can’t authentically like the United States either.

Okay. I think that’s everything. To recap, authenticity is admirable unless you’re authentically something other than a progressive clone.

When progressive Democrats say, “Be whatever you truly are,” they’re assuming you are progressive Democrat. They’re not expecting your worldview to contain adjectives like “conservative”, “pro-life”, or “traditional.” They have evolved. They are no longer capable of empathy. They can’t comprehend the existence of human beings who think differently from themselves. The heart is deceitful above all things because it persuades us that whatever it wants is also what is right.

(Jeremiah 17:9) The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
