Or loyal Republicans. Surely you’ve heard people talk about voting Republican for fifty straight years. They don’t pay attention to details like names, policies, criminal records, or allegiance to the Dark Side of the Force. They call this mindlessness “loyalty” and seem to think it is something I should honor and emulate. But I don’t want to talk about Republican Loyalists.
I want to discuss Democrat Loyalists because Democrats are monsters. They’re like the Mind Flayer from “Stranger Things” or those pods from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers“. Democrats are human forms that serve as hosts to sinister, other-worldly creatures. The creature’s specific goals are unknown but it’s certain that, “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” don’t appear on the list.
Recently, the Democrat creatures declared that they would approve federal funding to build a gigantic system of tubes that suck unwanted kindergartners off playgrounds and shoot them into space. The creatures insist this is crucial to the health and well-being of women. They warn that opposition to this plan will drive the country back to “the dark ages” when women had to suffer under the tyranny of personal responsibility. Motherhood should be a woman’s choice made free from the influence of her children.
Your loyalty makes this possible.
Your loyalty is nostalgic. Times change and you didn’t pay attention. You think the Democrats are still the party that cares about poor people. You think the Democrats are the party of compassion. You’re loyal to ancient ideologies that don’t exist anymore. The Democratic party is no longer made-up of human beings. They aren’t motivated by concern for the human race. You won’t know their plan until they’ve finally absorbed America’s soul and by then, you’ll be under the tube that sucks old people out of nursing homes and shoots them into space.
Feel free to ignore me if you’re “non-religious”. Right and wrong are concepts that don’t exist for you. Liberty isn’t better than slavery. The monsters will take care of you so long as you keep voting for them. Just take care you don’t grow a conscience and if you do, don’t open your mouth.
If you’re Christian, your loyalty is supposed to be with Christ. Loyalty to Christ should affect your vote because it should affect EVERY aspect of your life. As political parties change, Christ remains the same. Voting straight Democrat is nothing to brag about. Your loyalty isn’t a badge of honor. These days, it’s a mark of shame.

Bravo, John!
I was just thinking about Jeffrey Epstein and his flying Bill Clinton numerous times on the Lolita Express, with underage girls on board and at his hellish residence on the previously gorgeous, and literally Virginal, Little St. James Island.
I was thinking how many politicians happily accepted Epstein’s invitation to his evil places of sin, rape and murder of children. No wonder he was a Billionaire with his power of blackmail, financial dealings and providing unspeakable “perks” for powerful “elites” including politicians.
I was screaming inside, yesterday, about the Cuomos, Chuck Schumer, Kirstin Gillibrand, deBlasio, AOC, and nearly all politicians in California…
Not too long ago, it was the Bush family…
(Barbara Bush’s birth father says it all…)
Voting for individuals, based upon their character and integrity is definitely the way to go, if they aren’t weeded out first by corrupt party bosses.
One of my favorite movies is “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” with Jimmy Stewart.
This should be shown in every civics class. We need people like him at all levels of government and the private sector.
I appreciate your description of sucking children and the elderly out into space… a different descriptive of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia: aka murder. Your euphemism brought a smile for your genius, but deep heartache and tears for what is happening to our most vulnerable populations.
Demoncrats of today are absolutely not like the Democrats of yesteryear; yet they’re hiding under that cloak, hoping nobody will notice the flickering slit tongues, viper eyes and hearts lurking in shadow under the now-flimsy disguise.
I’m grateful you are able to write so beautifully about such critical issues.
Thank you, John!
Alas, the best presidential candidates based on character and integrity (in those cases where there are any good candidates in the first place) are invariably weeded out by the party apparatus (both major parties) long before my state’s primary comes around.
I agree with that, however I think there are exceptions. For example, I believe Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are both decent people, I will admit the both stumbled in the last election.
