Brant Hansen joins me at church, in my car and ultimately at Panera. We discuss how amazing I am and how lucky Brant is to know me. We quickly dispatch heathen doctrine. Brant eats arugula and feels no shame about it. Some church related stuff comes up. Prayer comes up. Then Brant tells a story that makes us both cry but we can’t cry because we’re at Panera so we stop making eye contact and pretend that we’re not crying.

This is just part one!!

You should probably check out Brant’s podcast. It’s funny and weird. His co-host Sherri is amazing.  You’ll like it, Carl.

EDITED BY AMANDA:   Sorry about the music that interrupts Brant around 48 minutes into the cast.  JB messed it up, and he can’t upload a non-messed-up one for a few days…  🙂

  1. Carl appreciates the Brant and Sherri suggestion! I need to switch back to piously listening to sermons for the rest of the day as my stomach now pains from laughing too much!

  2. I forgot to tell you (so that you could tell Brant) that I was humming “What a Friend we Have in Jesus” all day after you shared his podcast with me… And I giggled uncontrollably while I was trying to explain it to Luke and quickly realized, “You just had to be there.”

    Just listen to it, Carl.
