Bob Smiley shows up to let me know he’s impressed with the dismal quality of my recordings. We discuss whether or not bad people can be good leaders. There’s more commentary about those People Who Occupy The Center Of The Universe. Smiley tells about his habit of picking fights with strangers. Ultimately we figure out who makes the best pizza in the United States (and it IS NOT Chuck E. Cheese). Carl, feel free to sound off on this (or any other) topic.

I will say that I am guilty of saying “I’m going to a ‘Tim Hawkins concert.'” although you’ll be there too. Although I am just as excited to see you on November 20th! 🙂
I’ve seen Tim Hawkins alone once, and then once with you.
I think, from what I’ve observed, other comedians like you and Bob Smiley have made Tim Hawkins better. I say this because he is doing more of what he is most passionate about ( music) in his shows – since other comedians provide the stand-up. It balances the music-to-stand-up ratio that he’d normally provide touring on his own.
Since he has focused more on music, it’s gone up a few more levels over the years. You can credit it to more experience, but I’ll give credit to comedians like you and Bob Smiley as well 😉
That’s my humble observation as a long-time fan of the three of you.
As far as what you’ve guys had to say concerning this election and tolerance- I agree completely. Your friendly banter throughout the podcast was entertaining as well.
