Congratulations on ‘destroying’ a fringe belief held by a tiny number of conspiracy theorists. What are you going to tackle next? How about disproving the theory that heavy objects fall faster than light objects? Or, maybe you can destroy the myth of Santa Claus!
Or, maybe you could put your considerable powers of skepticism to work debunking the theory that intelligence magically appeared from mindless chaos! That would actually be worth your while.
Set your mind to destroying the belief that human beings with the ability to photograph themselves atop Mt. Everest are merely the product of unguided cosmic forces. Undertake the task of discrediting the cultish religion that teaches its disciples to abandon the laws of physics and probability to embrace the dogmas of evolution. The superstition of a purposeless Universe is more widely held than that of a flat Earth but every bit as ridiculous. Your towering intellect coupled with your love for rationality and reason should enable you to create a series of memes in an hour or two. You could wipe out atheism and agnosticism by lunchtime!
Are you up to the challenge?
No?
I understand. It takes a lot of courage to challenge your own beliefs. Far safer to ‘destroy’ dead philosophies, junk science, and crackpot religions. Somebody needs to pick the low hanging fruit. You keep right on exposing the absurdity of all those theories that smart people don’t hold anymore. There’s no shame in beating dead horses!
(Psalm 14:4) Will evildoers never learn—
those who devour my people as men eat bread
and who do not call on the Lord?
here they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.
