Hey, everybody! Louis C.K. is doing stand-up again!

Some people aren’t too happy about it.

These people are were profoundly disappointed to discover that a vulgar comedian who talks endlessly about masturbation on stage is vulgar and prone to masturbation off stage.

New York Times published multiple, corroborated accounts of his tendency to masturbate in situations where such behavior is frowned upon (i.e., in public spaces and workplaces, and in the presence of women whose consent was largely hypothetical)…

I betcha there are some women who didn’t mind watching Louis masturbate.

I betcha there were a few who enjoyed it.

So I won’t be joining you on the outrage bandwagon.

While you’re preaching at Louis to “grow” and “learn from his mistakes”, let me offer a humble insight.

YOU created Louis C.K.

You applauded his vulgarity.

You laughed at his irreverent crassness.

You praised his comedic genius.

Nothing was out-of-bounds when he stood behind the microphone.

No taboos.

He pushed to the edge of decency – and you cheered for him to go further.

So he dropped his pants.

And YOU were offended.

Because you didn’t give CONSENT!

Hilarious!

You are funnier than Louis C.K. could ever hope to be!

This is what YOU need to learn from Louis C.K. :

Even after you give consent, sin is still wrong.

Your consent does not turn indecency into virtuousness.

You don’t make wretchedness “good” by simply agreeing to participate.

So get up off your fainting couch.

Louis C.K. is a dreadful, wretched sinner.

And so are YOU.

At least Louis admitted it.

  1. Vulgar humor is boring. Nevertheless, it appeals to some, and those people ought to wonder why. Why are they so willing to encourage another to degrade himself? Why don’t they understand that encouraging such behavior God sees them as a participant?

When I was a boy, I saw something I think similar in the schoolyard. When two boys would get angry with each other, instead helping them to work out their differences, there were always those who, wanting to see a fight, would stoke their anger and pride. Those are not the people we can trust to protect our back.

  2. I can’t believe that people cheer all kinds of deviant behavior in the name of comedy. Do we have people who can stand up from the crowd and be counted
God look at us as individual even though we live as a social being. Modernity has made good people to shut up and we allow people who make this kind of behavior to draw the public attention.
Anyway thank you John for standing up and be counted. The world needs people like you

  3. Wow! I’m glad I missed all that!

That’s why I love “clean” comedians doing their creative play. Once swear words and vulgarity emerge, that’s when I walk out/turn off the TV/ close the YouTube channel. (I do have a deep fondness for George Carlin, and hope he was able to open his heart to God before he died.)

I had an alcoholic relative, with no inhibitions that thought this stuff was hilarious, and was pitifully starving for attention and support for his weirdness. I’m not a saint – I’ve done my own horrendous sins – but it was awful, and couldn’t look at him when he was being a jerk. He was never able to admit he was a sinner, unlike Louis C.K., as he was better than everyone (his favorite motto: “I never make a mistake.”).

I hope the best for Louis C.K., and hopefully conversion.

Happy New Year to you, and your family! I hope 2019 is a very blessed year for you.
