Joe Biden is worried about America’s soul. Our soul is not in good shape because Donald Trump. Also climate change and hatred. Plus racism. So it’s obvious we need a person who can lead the country to a place that isn’t the place where we currently are. That person is Joe Biden.

Hooray! Joe Biden is going to stop Donald Trump from fundamentally altering who we are by fundamentally altering who we are. The good news is our soul isn’t lost yet. We are not beyond redemption. Our sin of electing Donald Trump will be absolved the instant we elect Joe Biden.
The Democratic Party can make us clean again. They know the power of public policies. Unlimited government is the only path to salvation. We cannot find our way without their help. We are just too stupid. Left to ourselves we have all kinds of crazy thoughts:
- abortion is evil
- skin color doesn’t matter
- borders are good
- free speech is good
- people are responsible for their actions
Joe Biden is not gonna stand by and watch that happen! Hallelujah! He’s gonna do something. He’s gonna take action. He’s gonna make speeches. He’s gonna tweet things. He’s gonna say stuff on television. He’s gonna sniff some heads and massage some shoulders. And our soul will be restored.
Of course, we could have more confidence in Joe if he wasn’t white. But since that ship has sailed, I’m hoping Biden will come out as a homosexual. This is a small thing to ask considering the soul of our nation is at stake.

Better yet, if Biden comes out as a trans. Gay is so passé now. But if old Joe would just come out wearing a nice pretty party dress, that would cinch it.
John, do you think Biden has a chance as the Democratic nominee. I know how much you multi-question comments so what are your thoughts on Mayor Pete’s stance that if you have a problem with his gayness you have a problem with God.
I think Biden has a shot at getting the nomination. There are a lot of Democrats who aren’t sold out to radical leftism. Old Joe is the only option for people who aren’t raving socialists.
I’ve written a couple of times about Mayor Pete. Blaming sin on God is a two-edged sword. The “God made me this way” argument also applies to homophobes. The people who refused to vote for Trump because of his womanizing will turn around and vote for Pete without giving a second thought to the fact that he sleeps with a dude.
How quickly we forget some of the wacky things he has said. He will definitely have to do some more self-loathing so as not to be seen as part of the patriarchy or have white male privilege. I think a public display of self-flagellation might do the trick. I also wonder what it means when he is more centrist than most of the other democratic candidates are. Sometimes it is difficult to remember our leaders are only there because God allows it and sometimes we get what deserve.
