If you don’t judge people, you don’t love people. Loudly disagreeing is not raising an argument. It only proves that you are unteachable. Instead of closing your brain and “sharing your heart,” THINK for a change.
The apostle Paul told Christians, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” (1 Cor.2:2) He also told the Christians, “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Gal. 1:9)
The message I hear from you IS NOT “Christ and him crucified.” Your message is, “Judge not!” That’s the SAME message I hear from the pagans. When your message is identical to the pagans, your message is not Christianity. You are “preaching a gospel other than what you accepted.”
I don’t want to see you condemned, so I’m going to try to teach you how to properly judge people.
PAY ATTENTION: There is no scripture that says, “Judge not!”
(I will refer you to Matthew 7:1 and ask you to notice the comma where you think there is an exclamation point.)
When you say, “I don’t judge people. I just love people!” — you are not telling the truth. It is IMPOSSIBLE to love people without judging them. If you don’t JUDGE people, you don’t LOVE people.
You take a child’s hand and lead them across a busy street because you JUDGED them as untrustworthy. You don’t trust them to cross by themselves. You don’t believe they will be okay on their own. You have JUDGED RIGHTLY.
When you let a 2-year old play in traffic, you don’t love that child. If you disagree, you might as well stop reading. Text me your address so I can tell the cops where to pick up your kids.
Every poor person on Earth is a 2-year old playing in traffic. Your gospel of no-judgment leaves those children in the street while you stand on the curb shouting, “I love you!”
YOU JUDGE that your compassion is better than the message of Christ and Him crucified.
YOU JUDGE yourself capable of “making Jesus attractive” as if He who made the stars needs your help relating to the public.
YOU JUDGE which sins are worth mentioning and which can be safely ignored.
Worst of all, YOU JUDGE that you’re living by the creed, “Judge not!”
The apostle Paul preached “Christ and Him crucified,” because he JUDGED people need Jesus to live. Paul JUDGED RIGHTLY. Paul JUDGED Jesus was trustworthy when he said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” If you claim to be a disciple of Jesus, you will do the same.
