Evidence is the thing that godless skeptics talk about most.
They refuse to believe anything that isn’t supported by piles of evidence.
Well…almost anything.
They believe “RELIGION” exists just to keep science from advancing.
What a perfect summarization of what RELIGION is all about!
All that’s missing is the evidence to support it.
So…Here’s some evidence that Nan can use to support her outrageous statement.
As a RELIGIOUS person, I don’t care about the world of tomorrow.
Not one little bit.
I’m too busy fighting for the world of yesterday.
I appreciate Nan’s honesty.
She makes the “difficult” admission to being raised in the “world of yesterday”.
As a RELIGIOUS person, I too was raised in earlier times.
If my family hadn’t been so backward and superstitious, maybe I could have been raised in the future.
I could have grown-up decades before my RELIGIOUS mother gave birth to me.
Alas, it was RELIGION that forced my history to be locked in the past.
I appreciate Nan’s assertion: “There is NO WAY I would go back to [yesterday].”
It is a bold statement of unquestionable truth…
…since time travel is impossible.
Atheists are very pragmatic.
But I take issue with Nan’s statement: “…I find it disturbing that RELIGION is trying to quash all these advancements and take us back to log cabin days.”
As a RELIGIOUS person, I will not be satisfied with the return to log cabin days.
No.
I speak for all RELIGION when I say mankind must return to Paleolithic days.
We cannot tolerate science taking the place of our invisible “god”.
We fight to get back to the world of yesterday.
Before technology.
Before medicine.
Before language and mathematics.
My RELIGION hopes to return to the days when humans were regularly eaten by predatory animals.
This will please our invisible “god”.
We will settle for nothing less.
This is why we voted for Trump.
You are free to quote me, Nan.
Without evidence from a RELIGIOUS person, your statement is indescribably stupid.

Here’s a brief view of modern worship. Pretty much just like they did it in “log cabin days.”
I know how we can get back to the “Good ‘ole Days”. I’m not against technology, just unethical uses of technology.
Since atheists want Christians to shut up, maybe we can get what Nan thinks we want.
We can step aside and just let atheists, unhampered by moral constraints, coupled with unguided technology, blow the world up and put us right back in Paleolithic times.

Wow! As an atheist, Nan doesn’t know her history very well, does she?
Who kept knowledge alive during the dark ages? (Hint: they lived in monasteries)
Who discovered genetics? (Hint: who was Gregor Mandel?) Who has very advanced astronomical observatories?
Which president lived in a log cabin, eloquently prayed to God, and abolished slavery?
On the other hand, what billionaire gave us “Clippy”, error messages, support lines manned by unintelligible “Steve” whose real name is Aditya Madhavaditya Agartala, sterilization and neurological toxins in vaccines and who is a soulless, godless threat to humanity, who gave us something far better to waste our time with than living.

We listen to one of the all-time most requested bits on our show… “Clippy Must Die!” on NPR’s “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me”
Why didn’t you invite other Christians to give Nan more evidence for all of her beliefs?
Here’s something she should appreciate:
“As a Christian, speaking for all other Christians, we believe it’s sinful to eat banana peppers on Saturdays. Nothing except jellyfish and basket-weaving is more arrogant.”
😂
You can quote me.
There’s NO evidence for God and we just keep believing on account of we hate technology. That’s what I was told in my indoctrination camp. I never question my indoctrinators. It’s Sunday! Hand me a banana pepper.
