Men, you are welcome here. You have work to do.
Your loved ones need you to be strong, courageous, and wise. They need you to be selfless, loyal, and unbreakable. They need you to build a safe place for them to live, learn, and love.
Evil is quite real. You will be opposed by dark forces that are too powerful to overcome by yourself. You will need some brothers. You will need men to help you do the work and encourage you to stay the course.
Men, you are welcome here.
Bring your hammer, your sword, and your shovel. Bring the people who are counting on you to succeed. You can borrow my strength when you stagger. I will lean on you when I’m exhausted. That way, we will all stand together.
We are riddled with flaws and weaknesses. We are not only imperfect, we are inadequate. But there is no sin in masculinity. We offer no apologies for being men. Sin comes from settling for less than we were made to be. Sin rejects the difficult task we were assigned.
We will miscalculate, misunderstand, and misstep but God has promised grace. Despite our human failings, divine fellowship remains intact. It is not our own strength that binds us together. The journey, though hard, will be filled with joyful communion. The destination will be glorious and eternal.
Men, you are welcome here.
I lead a church service at 9:15am on Sunday at Fairfield Christian church (1476 E 400 S, Kokomo, IN 46902). If you’re in the area and you’re staying home on Sunday, you should join us instead.
(Ecclesiastes 4:10) “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!”

One of the more encouraging posts, John. Thank you. We aren’t in Indiana, but we will be praying for your speaking to the Body there. – Barabbas
