If you’re celebrating anything during the Christmas season, I wish you the best.
If you’re not celebrating anything, I wish you the best.
If you’re enjoying the blessings of God with family and friends, I wish you the best.
If you’re convinced there is no God and “joyfulness” is a byproduct of brain chemistry, I wish you the best.
Sinners and saints alike, I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
And if you are part of the minuscule group of people offended by Merry Christmas, I just wish you the best.
It doesn’t matter HOW you observe Christmas, I’m extending my warmest greetings.
Maybe, as part of your holiday celebration, you helped successfully squelched the public display of a nativity.
Or maybe, to promote goodwill, you sued a school for including “Silent Night” in their Holiday pageant.
Or perhaps you spent time protesting a local business for the owner’s blatant expression of his Christian faith.
It doesn’t matter!
I wish you the best!
Peace on Earth and Goodwill Toward Everyone!
However you observe Christmas, make it merry.

Love your enemy. As the Apostle Paul observed, that’s guaranteed to cause them pain. Hard to justify wronging and hating someone who isn’t inclined to return the same animosity.
Merry Christmas to you John and your whole family.
Same to you and yours!
