  1. I guess I don’t get it. Why would someone need to hide not having any beliefs? I thought they were content neutral and didn’t have anything to defend? I can only think (based on what he wrote) that he would be persecuted for his incoherence.

    1. The Atheists claim that Christians will lynch them for their lack of faith. It’s all a ruse. In Western culture, atheists don’t suffer persecution.

      1. Interesting. So, having allegedly left Christianity, they seem to have a need to be persecuted for being an atheist. Yeah, we see that all the time in the news…. What strange people. Well, at least it gives their life some meaning and purpose.

  2. They think they need to hide their unbelief?

… And yet my 4-year-old confessed to me JUST LAST NIGHT that he doesn’t think God is real because people don’t really have magic powers. (I didn’t punish him, by the way.)

Maybe adult Atheists are just ashamed that they still have EXACTLY the same beliefs about God as 4-year-old Atheists. (Laughing, but totally serious.)

No one is advocating that we kill Atheists! They need some juice and to be tucked into bed. That’s how I handled my boy. 🙂 (Oh, and I asked him a few questions he can’t answer yet… But I’m sure he’ll keep thinking…)

    1. When atheists can’t answer questions, they block the questioner. Hope Collin is more open-minded.

      1. He is much, much nicer to talk to than any of the Atheists I’ve met online so far. But maybe I just haven’t found the right Atheist yet. 😉

Collin also informed me that “bad guys aren’t real” in the same conversation. So we talked about what a “bad guy” is. Eventually we agreed that there are no evil wizards or giant monster-machines. But there ARE regular people who choose to do bad things…

Baby steps. After all, he was just a baby three years ago.

        1. He’s your Tooth Fairy doubter as well. Indoctrinating him with your superstitious nonsense will not be easy…

  3. In all seriousness, are we to assume that he works for a Christian organization, like a church or KLOVE radio- or are all of these people just astoundingly delusional? Because, yes, converting to Christianity is Illegal in many Islamic nation’s, and Mohammed ordered the death of unbelievers and deconverts from Islam, but do these dorks really think America ever has laws or even social norms that killed unbelievers merely for unbelief? Don’t these people also try to insist that many of the founding fathers were atheists? Have they never read the cynical writing of Mark Twain? He got published- not burned at the stake. We can point to dozens of examples in the past year alone here in America of Christians being physically attacked or legally oppressed for their convictions (and occasionally for wearing the wrong hat) but can these goobers point to a single instance in their entire lifetime where in Christians violently attacked atheists or set fire to their own college just to stop them from speaking? I think they know you are right, JB. They know that atheism is so stupid and defenseless that they are ashamed to admit it in person because they (at some level) know they will and deserve to be made fun of for it.
But this absurd martyr routine is just one more reason they deserve to be laughed at.
And yet- none of us are suggesting that anyone firebomb their car, or put them in jail, are we?
Time to wake up, our atheist friends. It’s time to give reality a try.
