I get accused of abusing Atheists all the time.

Recently, a concerned reader took me to task for showing “derision” toward a godless heathen.

I tried to explain to her that I have just as much “derision” for Christians who refuse to stand up for their faith.

Pretty sure I didn’t make any progress.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to re-post this gem from “The Recovering Know It All“.

This is the guy who turned his back on Christianity because he felt mistreated.

The clip in yellow is a sample of the scolding I received on KIA’s behalf…

  1. That really IS creepy. Completely inappropriate. Ewww.

“Pick your predators carefully” is a very triggering title, but triggering in the best way. It’s something we need to be constantly asking ourselves, thinking critically about. Where do my loyalties fall and why? Am I loyal to the truth or am I only loyal to my tribal allegiances? Is my need for people favor more powerful than my need for the Lord’s favor? Is my allegiance to someone else self-serving or God serving? Do I realize there is sometimes a difference? I’m chuckling here, I think I could probably write a book on the subject based on constant human error.

  2. The Bible (ESV) says we are to sit in the seat of the scoffers but it does not say we can’t pull the seat out from under them.

  3. Is there any way for me to add pictures to my comments? (Like this one?)

I was just re-reading some of KIAs comments on one of my old blog posts–because I don’t delete blog posts, so old comments are still available. So, I have a couple more screenshots that might be relevant to this thread.

(“Coy?” He thinks I was trying to be “Coy”??? Ick. )

    1. We used to use the tag in the comment part of the blog. You might try that and see what happens…

        1. Yeah, you’d have to host it somewhere – you could even host the picture on the blog and then post the url of the pic.

          1. Meh.
            Probably not worth it.

Anyone who isn’t already convinced of KIAs depravity will either try to engage him themselves, or they’re not interested.
