THIS WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN THE DAY AFTER THE RITTENHOUSE VERDICT WAS ANNOUNCED

If you’re struggling today to understand how a court decision was reached, ask yourself this question: “Why did I think the verdict would be different?” Take a few minutes to ruminate (that means ‘think’) while I go make some toast.

(John leaves the room giving you a few moments to ponder (which also means ‘think’) the reasons why you believed any particular defendant would be found guilty.)

The answer you should have gotten is: “The media lied to me.”

You got duped. Bamboozled. Snookered. Hoodwinked. The media made you a chump. A dope. A schmuck. An idiot. The agencies you trust to tell you the truth were actually telling you fairy tales. That’s the ONLY explanation for why you were blindsided or outraged by the verdict.

Were it not for media coverage, you wouldn’t even know about the case. You’re not a member of local law enforcement and you don’t work in the justice system. You are ONLY aware of cases that are covered by the media.

You didn’t see the evidence. The jury did and that’s why they made their decision. A professional prosecutor tried very hard for a ‘guilty’ verdict. The evidence persuaded a jury of 12 people to vote ‘not guilty.’

Perhaps you believe the jury was corrupt. If so, ask yourself this question: “Who told me the jury was corrupt?” (You don’t need to ponder very long this time.)

Same answer, right? The media is making up stories of corruption because they think you’re an idiot. An idiot would continue to trust sources of information that repeatedly lie to her. An idiot refuses to accept when things turn out differently than she expected (or hoped). So you should ask yourself this question: “Am I an idiot?”

Sometimes it feels good to believe lies. You feel entitled to throw a pity party or a tantrum. The media might tell you that your vengeful acts bring justice. They’ll call you a ‘hero.’ If you’re an idiot, you’ll believe them and it will feel fantastic for a little while.

If you are upset today by a ‘not guilty’ verdict, then you were tricked by the media into believing lies. Which means, you probably believe a bunch of other bogus fairy tales too. Ask yourself this question: “What other things have I learned from the media that are probably not true?”

There’s an old saying that goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” The first time you fall for media lies, it’s not your fault. If you keep getting your news from liars, that IS your fault. A steady diet of lies will eventually kill you (or cause you to kill someone else).

The media is chock full of wretched, despicable liars. If you are an idiot, they will manipulate you into doing their bidding. Everybody is an idiot once. Don’t make gullibility a habit.

“What a man desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.”

(Proverbs 19:22)

  1. John, this is wonderfully said, and needs wide circulation. To see people upset about Kyle being acquitted? Just seeing the video is enough for a mild gentle soul like myself to be glad he was able to protect himself.

The MSM is controlled by shear evil.
I find it’s difficult to help family and others wean off of MSM – the propaganda is so skillfully done in ways that reward watching that crap. It’s horrifying to see people mesmerized by that bilge.

I had to turn off the TV to protests, when NBC (not my choice!) anchors were literally hyperventilating a couple of days ago, in overly dramatic fake fear about the new variant reason to get more booster shots of graphene oxide +… more mandates, more control and restrictions. Panic people! Stay in fear! And gee – no traffic in or out of South Africa. (Not mentioning South Africa has been rebelling against worldwide mandates and control, with few in the country contracting or dying of Covid. Couldn’t possibly let people know control and mandates and jabs don’t work. Couldn’t possibly be a punishment against the sovereignty of South Africa, the leaders and people who have wised up, could it?)

    1. Sheer… autocorrect strikes again… :p
Apologies, I was being called, so posted rapidly.
      See I’m an idiot 🙂

  2. Just one question…”An idiot would continue to trust sources of information that repeatedly lie to her. An idiot refuses to accept when things turn out differently than she expected (or hoped).”…why did you use “her” and “she” when addressing what an idiot would do? Hmmmm?

    1. I wouldn’t take offense, Suzi. Men have been told they’re stupid idiots for decades by militant feminists.

I’m a woman, and I’m more than willing to admit idiocy is equal-opportunity.

I make mistakes all the time, and often dope-slap my head and call myself an idiot – no matter what tests might say.

  3. That’s why I trust the CND to keep me on the right side of the road! John has (*cough*) never (*ahem*) led me (*wheeze*) down the wrong track……….
