Another tragic shooting means that my fellow Christians should prepare to be scolded by the pro-abortion crowd. Oblivious to their stunning hypocrisy, the people who religiously kill babies will pantomime concern for school children and blame bloodshed on anyone who owns a gun.
Brace yourselves, brethren! We will be accused of great evil.
We who belong to Christ will give this horrific tragedy to Jesus. We are not strong enough to carry it ourselves. We will weep and mourn with the families. We will trust God to redeem this evil for good. We believe that one day there will be no more suffering.
We will be mocked for our prayers. The scoffers worship the government. They want their god to murder babies but protect school kids from violence. They are wandering in darkness while cursing our light. Godlessness is chaos. There is no peace for those who mock God.
We will be told this is a time for ‘action’ and that our prayers are not enough. That is false. The only solution to school shootings is God’s intervention. We who are inhabited by the Holy Spirit are not capable of harming children. A person with a rational reason for killing a baby is capable of anything. A school shooting is stopped every time someone becomes a Christian.
We are consistent in our belief that human life is sacred. We don’t make exceptions. It is the pagans who believe they are wise enough to judge who lives and who dies. Humanism is the cause of school shootings. Christians have repeated the Bible’s warning for centuries: “The wages of sin is death.” Even as bullets fly in the classroom, Humanists continue to believe there are no consequences for teaching children that God does not exist.
When a pro-abortion person says it’s time to do something about gun violence, we can let them know that the problem was solved when Jesus rose from the dead. They won’t like hearing that because they belong to a smaller, weaker god. Be prepared for a lot of fussing and fuming. Don’t let it bother you.
(Acts 2:38) Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
