Do you remember when Donald Trump was President? It seems like only a century ago that Trump was the reason your life sucked. Remember how his mean comments caused mental breakdowns among millions of Americans? Remember how he flew around in his helicopter making sure no poor people received aid? Remember how he put kids in cages for fun? And do you remember how many frantic memes you posted warning that America would collapse if Donald Trump stayed one more minute in Washington?
Trump is gone. Why are you still unhappy? (That was a rhetorical question. You don’t know the answer so don’t open your mouth. I’m going to TELL you why you’re unhappy.)
You’re unhappy because your religion is lousy. Your god is “the system.” Right now, “the system” is oppressive, cruel, and overrun by white supremacists. You are praying for “the system” to be overrun with a better class of supremacists because you think that will stop the oppressive cruelty. You’re a fool.
Your god is a weakling. Donald Trump is gone and yet “the system” hasn’t brought heaven to Earth. Your god’s blessings are blocked by the Republicans. Your flimsy deity can’t act unless the Democrats pack the Supreme court and get rid of the filibuster. The object of your faith is still reeling because a guy invaded a session of Congress wearing a buffalo hat. You worship a god who faints at the sight of horned headgear.
Let me tell you what will happen after “The Storm” washes ALL the evil Republicans out of Washington. When ALL the white supremacists and greedy capitalists are overthrown…You will see increased cruelty and oppression. Joy and happiness will depart and every minute of your days will be full of despair. I know this for certain. Do you want to know how?
Because you are ALREADY full of misery and despair. Your god is powerless to change your circumstances. More importantly, your god is powerless to change your heart. Your god can’t even balance a budget, let alone renew your mind. The misery, despair, hopelessness, anger, and fear that consumes you right now WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE as long as you trust “the system.”
Your god needs the Republicans out of the way.
