Two episodes in one week?!!!
Yes. Because Episode 10 was all about the election, I thought we should release another episode to help wash the taste of politics out of our mouths.
You’re welcome.
In this episode, the Peaches explains why your kids are slaves. We talk about evil and how it’s not done much evolving through the ages. Modern evil looks pretty similar to ancient evil. Then Tabby and Andrew join us on Halloween! Tabby complains about election signs (I know…election stuff…but it’s funny.)
Cami and Collin show off their costumes.
Andrew demonstrates his uncanny ability to imitate Patrick Warburton. And we are treated to an impromptu ocarina concert.
One Response
John,
Finally got to listen to this episode. I have missed a couple, but i have enjoyed them a lot. Sometimes I find myself chucking at the sounds of real life going on during the recording. I mean, where else can you get a color commentary on changing diapers in a podcast!
I was going to go into another defense of the term “fundamentalist” after the podcast, but…
After I was done listening to yours, I listened to “The Briefing” by Albert Mohler. It should come as no surprise that I am a fan of his. If you have not caught his short (10-15 min) podcast, you may want to check it out. It is very insightful, and deals with many daily news happenings.
In that podcast, he referred to folks I would call true fundamentalists as “Biblical Christians”. I am increasingly thinking of adopting that term as an alternative to fundamentalist. “Biblical Christians” would be a contrast to many things, like cultural Christians, liberal Christians, Christian cults, and the like, and points to Scripture as the final authority for faith and practice. And that, truly, is what I mean when I use the word “fundamentalist”.
Please keep making the podcasts! And I just don’t mean that in hopes of another ocarina solo…
Thanks for what you do,
Dave
1 Thessalonians 2:13 (ESV) – And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.
