The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ”
“You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Genesis 3:2
The serpent deceived Eve in the garden by making her doubt herself. The snake asked, “Are you sure God said what He said?” It is such an effective form of deception that it is still used today!
Online serpents slither into my conversation about Critical Race Theory and ask, “Did you really read what you thought you read? Are you sure CRT really says what you think it says?”
Thankfully, God has seen fit to fill me with His Spirit. I am wise to the tricks of the deceiver. My house is not built on sand. I do not get washed away by the relentless waves of godless indoctrination.
If you sincerely doubt that Critical Race Thoery is a false religion bent on destroying your soul, and you are not a serpent; pick up a copy of Voddie Baucham’s “Fault Lines.”
If you sincerely doubt that CRT is a false religion bent on destroying souls and you’re too lazy or proud to investigate it, you are a serpent and I can’t help you. Ask God for mercy and wisdom.
