To my Christian brothers and sisters.
Your plan worked.
You succeeded.
Your tireless commitment to ‘loving the sinner’…
…has made sin the law of the land.
Congrats!
The Whitehouse looks like a float in a gay pride parade.
Sexual immorality is now equal to the covenant of marriage.
Equal.
Sodomy is exactly the same as the reason God created Eve.
Love Wins! Right?
We’ve proven that we are tolerant toward gay people.
They’ll flock to our churches now…
…eager to hear about how they’ve sinned…
…and fall short of the glory of God.
Right?
That was the plan all along, wasn’t it?
Love.
Don’t judge.
Tell them that God made them gay for a reason.
Convince them that their behavior wasn’t sin at all.
The true sinners are people like me.
Bigots.
Hateful Bible-thumpers who insist that God’s love isn’t license to do as you please.
You champions of tolerance and love have accomplished a lot!
Paint rainbows on your profile pictures and celebrate.
That’s probably what Jesus would do.
I’ve got a question.
Now that same sex marriage is recognized at the Federal level…
…do you think the conversations about homosexuality being a sin…
…are going to be easier or harder?
* It’s time to quit telling homosexuals that they’re not at war with God. It’s not loving to ignore a behavior that God has declared detestable. Â Discipleship costs everything. Â Tricking people into attending church by telling them anything else has got to stop.
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
Leviticus 18:22

Enough of the Christian hypocrisy I say. Stop half following God’s laws… God commands death of Homosexuals, so grab your stones and follow his horrific word. If you don’t wish to follow such a tyrant’s ways then drop it and call it the terrible myth it is.
Otherwise please do what the bible says… stone adulters, stone unruly children, stone non-virginal new brides… and gays of course…just to get started.
Please do this so the moral folks among you can find you and weed you out of society. Enough of the halfway stuff… all or nothing please. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment, Artie.
You need to explain what you see as hypocrisy before I can respond to that charge. I know from previous dialogue that you’ll only tolerate word definitions that you establish yourself. I’ll not comment until I understand your definition of hypocrisy.
You are correct. God commands death of homosexuals. Atheists too! But to get the whole picture, you need to read the New Testament, not just Deuteronomy. Much as it pains me tell you this, you’re the one who’s half following God’s laws.
I’m not even going to ask who the ‘moral folk’ among us would be. Before you can claim any knowledge of right and wrong you need a transcendent authority that establishes your moral code. Apparently, I’m more familiar with atheist doctrine than you…
Love, love, love what you say! So true! Thank you brother John Branyan!
The problem you have in you rant is that Jesus came to FULFILL the law, the being what you described as God demanding we stone these people, Jesus fulfilled the penalty of these sins and every other, man became to wicked to sacrifice as he did for forgiveness and he could no longer abide by the laws God set forth, so since God promised to not wipe out the earth again because of evil, he sent his son to die and fulfill the wages/penalties of these sins, this once again God keeps his promise on two levels, one that he is just and forgiving, two that he will never again enact a global eratication as the flood again.
So all in all, you are wrong sir.
The last * line was spot on! If we don’t believe that the God of Creation, Whose power raised Jesus from the dead is “enough,” then we resort to hucksters using worldly ways to bring ’em in the door and increase the numbers. When will you address worship replaced by rock concerts, youth discipleship replaced by eating pudding through pantyhose, and pastors who dress worse than homeless despite pulling down absurd salaries while only interacting with their flock from the pulpit of power, control, and hypocrisy? (Just some topic suggestions) 😉
That’ll preach!
I don’t lie to people I love. Christians who won’t tell the truth for fear of hurting feelings, are seriously off the beam.
Brilliant, and just my same opinion
