Need some advice from my fellow Christians:
I’ve got friends in the KKK.
…Khristian Klux Klan
They love people…
…white people.
They hate people of different ethnicity.
…But we can’t choose who we hate.
What’s most important is…
…the KKK people love Jesus.
They just want to live life in peace, like you and me.
Every now and then they’ll hold a meeting…
…burn a cross…
…hang an effigy…
They express themselves differently than me.
But they don’t force their behavior on me.
So how should I respond?
They claim to be followers of Christ.
And Jesus never formally condemned racism.
They’re not hurting me personally.
I guess I should love them, right?
Love means saying nothing.
Do nothing.
Just emit invisible waves of affectionate good will.
Think kind thoughts.
My ideas about tolerance are not the ONLY ideas.
It would be judgmental to tell them they shouldn’t hate.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
I think I’ve nailed the essence of the gospel.
What do you think?

* It’s time to quit telling sinners that they’re not at war with God. It’s not loving to ignore a behavior that God has declared abominable. Just because some sin is legal, doesn’t mean we are clear to embrace it.

That’ll preach.
This is a brilliant slap in the face to all who preach tolerance to sinful behavior. Another great post, thank you Mr. Branyan!
