Remember when I said there would come a day when we would throw out the ‘age of consent’ and let kids decide when they’re ready to have sex? And remember when you shrieked and hollered that I was just being hateful toward LGBTQ people?
A report from the UN contains the line: “Sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law…” You can read the whole report here and then tell me that I’ve got a reading comprehension problem or I’m lying or I’m overexaggerating or whatever. I’m sure you’ll figure out some way to dismiss it.
“John, you jerk!” you said. “Nobody favors sexualizing children, except for members of the clergy!!!! You’re bigoted against queer people. Admit it!!!!!”
If you weren’t hellbent on ‘normalizing’ perversity, you could have seen this coming. I’m neither a psychic nor a genius but I understood what was going to happen when you started telling kids they can choose their gender. You let your 4-year-old boy tell you he’s a girl. Why in the world would you think ‘she’ can’t consent to sex at age six?
This is what happens when you make up morality as you go along. Your ‘Progressive Christianity’ is just ‘Secular Humanism’ with lights and a worship band. You preach a gospel that includes everyone except people like me. My definition of ‘pervert’ is too broad for you. You think you can throw the door open and only allow certain degenerates in. You think you can pick and choose which sins get celebrated.
I don’t expect your rhetoric to change. You’ll keep right on insisting that some types of depravity are not really depraved. Your standards of decency will continue to decline right along with the culture. As your relentless pride sends you hurtling into eternal darkness, you’ll swear by your anemic gods that the real problem is my closed-minded bigotry.

Ummm…WHAAAA??? My head any my heart are both exploding and crying right now. My own adult children have fallen into these traps and I hate it! You were SO right. I wish we lived closer! I need friends like you and the peaches for balance.
This is the logical end of progressive amorality. And we’re certainly not at the end either. It like with AI. The virus is out of the test tube and loose in the lab. The technicians are already infected and the virus is spreading uncontrolled. Christians like yourself, followers of Christ, have to continue to speak truth, sound the alarms and take action where and whenever they can. “I’m only one.” Yes, but you ARE one. Pick up whatever tool, stand on whatever platform you have and speak up. “ACTA NON VERBA!”
