The following was written to specific people in my life who I care about. They are friends and loved ones who won’t let me speak directly to them about this topic. They get their feelings hurt very easily and that stops all conversation. I hope this impersonal article helps them feel more comfortable.
I’m not a “supporter” of Donald Trump. I’m a supporter of truth. Whoever has the truth has my “support”, which means my support is temporary. It moves around to follow the truth. You will never find me blindly shouting “MAGA” at a Donald Trump rally because Trump isn’t always speaking truth.
How about you? Does the truth matter to you?
Before you stick out your chest and say, “Yes,” watch the video clip below:
🚨🚨🚨 STORY OF THE SONDLAND HEARING 🚨🚨🚨

Q: No one else on this planet told you that Donald Trump was tying aid to these investigations, is that correct?
A: Yes. pic.twitter.com/GqV6vwZ0a1
Before you can care about the truth, you must first be able to recognize truth. You have to be able to listen to the witness say he has no evidence that Trump did something wrong AND read the caption underneath that says: “YES! TRUMP DID SOMETHING WRONG”. Can you do that? Are you understanding what is literally right in front of your eyes?
To be clear – I am not making fun of you. I am not mocking you. You might have heard the term, “useful idiot”. I’m trying to help you not be one of them. This is a sincere act of kindness. Do you want to be an idiot? Do you want to be manipulated by people who are smarter than you?
If it doesn’t bother you to be a useful idiot, stop reading. You understand the truth and you’re content to be stupid. I can’t help you. Nobody can help you.
If you don’t want to spend you life as a tool of wealthy, powerful people, watch the video once more. Pay attention to what is being said and notice how the caption says the opposite. CNN is literally reporting THE OPPOSITE of the truth. “The most trusted name in news” is lying to your face because they think you’re too stupid to catch on.
The Useful Idiot Test is just one question: Are you too stupid to catch on?
Again, I’m not mocking you. Every source of news is biased. Every source of news is slanted left or right. Nobody is completely neutral. You must remember that whether you tune into Fox, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, or any internet source (including this one). Just because someone is biased, doesn’t mean they’re wrong. Biased people can still speak truth.
Donald Trump broke the news media. His repeated accusations of “fake news” has resulted in a media surrender. News organization (like CNN) have given up the charade of objectivity. They’ve quit pretending they’re not biased. They don’t even try to hide the lies anymore. The deception, manipulation, and outright dishonesty are LITERALLY plastered at the bottom of your screen!
So, I ask again, do you care about the truth? If you still say yes, then I have another question. This one is harder…Does the truth matter more than your hatred for Donald Trump?
The truth indicates that the impeachment hearings are a sham. The truth indicates that Donald Trump (even though he is not a nice man and says mean things on Twitter and treats women badly and has pride issues and lots of other personal flaws) didn’t commit impeachable crimes. If you really care about the truth, you must acknowledge that.
Otherwise, you are a useful idiot. You’re the reason CNN isn’t worried about telling lies right out in the open. You don’t care when you’re told lies. You base your opinions on anger and hate. You blindly believe whatever your political leaders tell you to believe. They are smarter than you and they have made you their servants.
I’m still not mocking. It makes me sad that you’re a mindless drone. I’m holding out hope. I still believe you’re capable of thinking for yourself. Useful idiots can change. You just need to quit running from the truth.
UPDATE –
Several people have pointed out that I unfairly represented CNN’s reporting. During Sondland’s opening statement, he did say that there was an offer of quid pro quo extended to the Ukraine. The banner in the video was not a “lie” (as I had suggested) since it was a quote from Sondland. The banner did not pertain specifically to the testimony running in the video. I was incorrect to call it a “lie”. The questioning in the video was in regards to evidence which Sondland did claim to have because he thought his presumptions qualified as such evidence.

Most people are driven by the desires and emotions. How do we change that? We love God. We strive to see from His point-of-view so we can see more of the Truth.
What is the way of the natural man? Because our pride demands it, we see the world from our own point-of-view. Since we have put politicians in charge of our education system, we will have a difficult time changing how our children look and what the see.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving Day!
To be fair (more fair than CNN deserves), Sondland’s opening statement said yes, there was a quid pro quo, and everybody knew about it. It was only the careful, persistent questioning that eventually forced him to admit that it was only his own presumption that there would be a quid pro quo, and that nobody told him there was one. CNN latched onto the opening statement and disregarded the subsequent debunking — which still qualifies as fake news or worse.
Usually network television does not allow the broadcast of live eviscerations such as the one performed by Mike Turner.
Someone should take the gavel from the obsessed liar who has been holding it, and declare, “This fiasco is hereby concluded; no evidence of a criminal act by President Trump has been presented. Everybody get back to work.”
“Does the truth matter more than your hatred for Donald Trump?”
For most Trump-haters I’ve talked to, I would say, “no.” Their vitriolic anger has possessed them beyond their ability to hear or even care about truth. Trump-hatred is the ultimate truth, the highest moral virtue. He must be removed at all costs, regardless of what is actually true.
And I’m with you, I’m not mindless partisan follower. I can think for myself. I don’t watch 24-hour news channels for the same reason I don’t watch soap-operas. I don’t like wasting my time and becoming dumber for having watched it.
I will be curious to see if anyone admits to being content with their status as a useful idiot. Such an individual is truly to be pitied.
I have found that reason usually does not prevail when engaging in these kinds of conversations. Emotional rage is preferred to hearing a contradicting truth and growing as a human being from having received it.
I’m sorry for the friends you will lose over this John. It won’t matter how many times you say im not mocking you, they’ll still think that you are. That’s how the majority of these kinds of people that I’ve dealt with (or seen others deal with) think.
…sigh… I know.
The best way to avoid mockery is to stop being an idiot. But idiots believe a good response to idiocy is to accuse anyone who notices their stupidity of abuse.
Pride. Nothing new under the sun. Modern day Pharisees who refuse to see, let alone admit, or heaven forbid grow out of their prideful way of thinking about, truth. When you already know everything, you don’t need truth, whether it’s in a CNN video or standing in front of you 2000 years ago. Pride is blinding. It takes humility to accept truth.
John 14:6
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Sometimes, the words on the screen override the words that come into our ears. I think the liars know this.
