Really? You could be persuaded? How exciting! Where do I sign up for a chance to persuade you to consider ‘some form of creationism’? This is all I’ve ever wanted! It’s the reason I became a Christian! Long have I dreamed of the day when I would be allowed the privilege of presenting my quirky, backwater religious views to someone as sophisticated as yourself!
I’m very nervous! Me and Jesus are both hoping you’ll like us. You said worship was off the table and that’s fine. Worship is for inferior beings. It’s an honor just to have a moment of your time. Maybe, when I’m done with my amusing little presentation, you will grace me with an approving nod.

This is what decades of seeker-sensitive evangelism has created; a culture of boorish simpletons who seem to believe that I’m desperate for them to validate my faith. Whistling bags of windy pretension who believe themselves worthy of my best salesmanship efforts. “Perhaps I could be persuaded to consider your funny, little, gods…”
I don’t roll that way.
Perhaps I could be persuaded to consider telling you the greatest piece of news that mankind has ever come to possess if someone could shows me some manners that surpass those found among primates. If you indicated the smallest trace of revulsion for your vulgar display of superiority, I’m gullible enough to tell you the gospel. Until then, secularism and atheism are the domain of the insufferable.
