The benefit of becoming an iron-fisted dictator is that it simplifies relationships. Interacting with people is a series of trade-offs unless you seize power over everyone in your vicinity. If you are unwilling (or unable) to completely dominate the members of your tribe then they will eventually behave in a manner that displeases you. When that happens, there are only two options: 1) Force the other person to behave as you wish OR 2) Allow the other person to force their will on you.

There used to be a third option called, “Compromise” but that no longer exists in our culture. Compromise allows for a peaceful and reasonable resolution to our conflicts and that’s not something that interests you. You want to be a dictator. You just don’t have the guts to admit it.

I figured this out watching you meltdown over the infamous, “Don’t Say Gay Bill” in Florida. Because you don’t know how to read, you believe that the law makes it illegal to talk about homosexuality. I’m not going to bother explaining what the law actually says because zillions of people have explained it already and you’re still utterly ignorant about it.

To make my point, let’s assume your understanding of Florida’s law is correct. It is illegal to even say the word, ‘gay.’ Let’s assume that Governor DeSantis hates LGBTQ+ people. Let’s assume the Florida lawmakers are bigoted tyrants and the legislation is literally killing people every day.

Your response to this oppressive law is to shout, ‘Gay!’ on social media. You refuse to comply with the edict because it violates your conscience. You feel no guilt or anxiety about disobeying an immoral mandate. And you will fight to see this heinous law ended, right?

You are not interested in compromising with hateful, bigoted, anti-LGBTQ lawmakers. You want them to follow your orders. It’s all or nothing. Modifying the “Don’t Say Gay Bill” is unacceptable. You insist that the law be entirely replaced by a policy of your own. Just like a dictator…

It is obvious that you have the will to be a dictator but what you lack is power. Your impudent protests aren’t changing anything. If you weren’t anti-wealth, you could become a billionaire and use money to gain control over people. Every successful dictator in history has been literate so start by learning how to read. Maybe get a copy of the “Don’t Say Gay Bill” and then tell us specifically what you find so offensive about it.
