Apparently, nobody in your life loved you enough to tell you the most basic truths a human needs to know in order to just exist without confusion, despair, and anxiety. I feel sorry for anyone who was launched into civilization without the slightest knowledge of civilized behavior. So I’m going to try to educate you a little bit.

You do not deserve a place to live more than the landlord deserves income. Landlords allow you to make use of their property in exchange for income. The rental agreement benefits both YOU and THE LANDLORD. Each of you gets something from the deal.

You only deserve a place to live AFTER you have have paid rent money to the landlord. That’s how contracts work.

If you’re still having trouble understanding, imagine at 2 o’clock a.m. your LANDLORD came into your apartment, went into the kitchen and started making a casserole. You stumble out of the bedroom in a stupor and say, “Hey! That’s my food! What’s wrong with you?”

Your landlord responds, “No matter how you put it, no matter how horrible you try to paint the landlord, you do not deserve groceries more that a hungry person deserves a meal!”

Now, if you throw the landlord out the door and yell, “You’re a selfish clown! My stuff doesn’t belong to you!” then you’re exactly right. Nobody ‘deserves’ to invade your living space. There are no basic human rights that allows anyone else you use your personal property against your wishes.

Do you understand?

(2 Thessalonians 3:7) We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.”

  1. Seems obvious. We are not entitled to someone else’s house. Nevertheless, the Apostle Paul had to preach against such rot. In this country just a couple of generations past, the vast majority would have thought it absurd to demand to live in someone else’s house without paying rent. Now we think landlords greedy because they charge rent. Meanwhile the same silly people pay for the services charged by companies worth billions of dollars and don’t stop to think of all the campaign donations and bribes these companies pay to demagogues so that they will be left in peace.

What’s happened? We are not educating our children as we should.

    1. Yep. It boils down to a fundamental lack of education. These hapless beings grew up in a ‘family’ that acquired everything by manipulation, deception, and thievery. They have no moral obligations themselves but are convinced that the rest of society exists to meet their every demand. It is both heartbreaking and terrifying.

      1. Hell is world where everyone exists to take care of number 1, and each soul either hates or is indifferent to the fate of every other soul. So, everyone spends every moment trying to use or torment every other soul..
