People are a wee bit disappointed by the election results.
In cities all across the country, they’re protesting.
Because that’s how this thing works.
We conduct a peaceful, open election where everyone gets a vote.
Then, after the votes are counted…
…we stage angry demonstrations to protest the results.
The same thing happened in 2008 and 2012 after Obama’s election.
Wait….no it didn’t…
What a missed opportunity!
Where were the conservative, evangelical bigots in 2008 and 2012?
Why didn’t the moral majority burn flags in the streets?
Why didn’t right-wingers throw skateboards at Obama supporters?
Obviously…
…because they’re idiots.
They don’t understand the power of the hissy-fit.
Hillary’s people are expert tantrum throwers.
In their world, kicking, screaming and crying gets results.
Their parents and teachers lied to them.
They’ve been told that they should NEVER experience disappointment.
They should NEVER experience disagreement.
They should NEVER have to live outside of a ‘safe space’.
They should NEVER EVER EVER EVER…EVER…lose.
But they lost on Tuesday.
It was the first time that’s ever happened.
Their virginal journey into defeat.
Reality shifted.
A new paradigm crashed down onto their dangerously empty heads.
They responded with the only thing they know how to do…
…a conniption.
And they honestly believe they’re accomplishing something.
They think they’re making a difference.
…they think the hissy-fit will change things.
They believe the nation will respond to their outrage.
“You guys are upset? Oh no! Let’s throw out the election results!”
“We’ll set up the machines next Tuesday and give it another go.”
“Best two out of three.”
The poor souls don’t know any better.
Hillary promised she would take care of them.
They believed her.
They NEED to believe her.
Because they have no idea how to take care of themselves.
Consider the irony of burning Trump in effigy and simultaneously denouncing ‘hate’.

What Bible does that guy read, I wonder, after perusing some of the comments he has made on the ‘net. It the Clinton Revised Standard? Or the Obama Liberal Translation?

You, see, what these protesting folks fail to realize, is that they live in a country that has 1) The freedom to vote, 2) The freedom to express yourself, and 3) The freedom to gather with like minded people and disagree with the government.
Ironically, these same people are the ones who support college campuses and other places that deny other Americans the freedom to do the same. They believe people should vote as they want them to, never express any thought that might “trigger” them, and not even have gatherings of, say Young Republicans, who might do the unthinkable – invite someone to speak who they do not agree with.
Let them have their cry. They are learning how life really works. They live in a world where some people to not have the same belief systems that they do. They live in a world where some people reject their moral values. They live in a world where some people reject their leader.
Let’s welcome them into getting a small glimpse at what it is like to be a follower of Christ in an increasingly God-hostile world.
Of course, we will not demand that they shut up and go away, as they have to us. We won’t tell them that they can only speak of their rejection of the Creator in small zones, far from where it would offend us. And we won’t go on TV to mock their beliefs day after day.
We are just made of much hardier stuff.

Thank you Lord for sparing our nation from having to endure the consequences had the messiah of these lost people been elected. May the prayers that were answered for your mercy continue as prayers for our nation to turn to the only One who can bring hope and peace for now and eternity.
